Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plenny website, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of service

Plenny is a language-learning tool that enhances YouTube viewing with dual subtitles, interactive translations, vocabulary saving, and pronunciation practice. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Plenny. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your account and conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the extension
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity

Third-party services

Plenny integrates with YouTube and other third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and content created by Plenny, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal language-learning purposes.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of translations or language content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plenny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension.

Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
